Our backgrounds, our stories are all beautiful and unique in their own ways; but at the end of the day, we are all people, all equal. The meaning behind “one race. the human race.” is to express that we humans come from different roots and are of different races, religions, genders, and sexual orientations, but at the end of the day share a commonality in our humanity. We want to celebrate that all of our beautiful and diverse human beings together make up “one race. the human race.”
